Projects
I build small, focused tools and websites that solve real problems or make useful data more accessible. Here are two projects I’ve built and maintain.
Rovinj Webcam — Live Webcams, Weather & Sun Path#
rovinj-webcam is a live webcam aggregator for Rovinj, Croatia. It streams five live cameras from around the town — the marina, the main square, the old town, the Balbi’s Bow city gate, and a panoramic view.
Beyond just webcams, it shows real-time weather data (air temperature, wind speed/direction, sea temperature), a sun path widget for the current day, and supports 15 languages with automatic browser-language detection. The page is fully structured with JSON-LD for search engines.
Telekom Optika — Planned Fiber Coverage Map#
telekom-optika-planovane-lokality is an interactive map and searchable database of planned GPON fiber optic coverage by Telekom in Slovakia. It pulls official data from ZSdis and presents it as:
- An interactive Leaflet.js map with color-coded markers (completed / in progress / planned)
- A searchable, sortable table of every municipality with its status and estimated completion date
- Automatic diff detection — when the source data changes, the page highlights what was added, removed, or updated
- An FAQ section answering common questions about fiber availability
If you’re in Slovakia and wondering when fiber internet will reach your area, this tool gives you the answer.
